Overview
Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 331 “Sunlover”
The Beneteau Oceanis 331 has long been a favourite in the 33ft cruising market, offering an excellent balance of performance, comfort and easy handling. Designed by Groupe Finot and built by Beneteau in France, the Oceanis 331 is known for her generous interior volume, practical cockpit layout and genuine family cruising capability.
“Sunlover” is a 2001 Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 331 with a desirable three-cabin layout, making her a fantastic option for coastal cruising, weekends away, family sailing or extended holidays. Her accommodation includes a forward V-berth cabin, two aft double cabins, spacious saloon with cherry timber finish, galley, private head with shower, hot water and holding tank.
Major standouts are:
– New Volvo Penta D1-30 29hp diesel engine, recently replaced with only 58 hours. She is shaft driven (new shaft in 2014) and fitted with a three-blade folding propeller.
– New Antifoul (June/July 2026)
– Re-rig (June/July 2026)
– New boom bag (August 2026)
– Clean and hull polish (June/July 2026)
– Survey done in July 2025 for insurance and is avail for referral.
Sunlover presents as a well-equipped and very practical 33ft production cruiser, with good accommodation, capable sailing manners and the big-ticket benefit of a low-hour replacement engine.
