Overview
The Luhrs 31 is a beast of a boat with her sleek clean lines! Shockwave is a tournament-grade
fishing platform with exceptional styling that makes the cut with uncompromising anglers! The
Luhrs 30 Open (called the Luhrs 31 Open in 2006-08) is one of a handful of small inboard-powered
express boats built in recent years – (most modern fast fishing boats are outboard-powered). She’s
built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a wide 11’10″” beam and prop pockets to reduce draft.
Featuring Bait-prep center with sink, livewell, tackle drawers, fresh/raw-water washdowns, in-
deck fishboxes and transom door. The bridgedeck lifts up for engine access. Hardtop is standard.
Twin Cummins engines, she cruises at 23-24 knots (estimation only – TBC) Access to the cockpit
is safe and quick while visibility is excellent on all points with canopy/ clears enclosure to increase
your comfort at sea.
She is a good sea-keeping boat that’s suitable for sports fishing and family outings. She has large
deck space and is economical with consumption. Her well-appointed cabin with teak trim is
airconditioned, and has a convertible dinette that sleeps four. With a practical galley and private
heads with shower, the Luhrs is a perfect fishing and cruising platform with all the amenities for
weekends with the family!
